Mrs. Bickel

Logan Elementary School is a school wide Title 1 school. Title 1 services at Logan include:

Highly qualified teacher aides in grades k through 3 who work with children under the direction of the classroom teacher. The Kindergarten aide is Mrs. Lersch. The first grade aide is Mrs. Seedenburg. The second grade aide is Mrs. Maken. The third grade aide is Mrs. Barry.

Computer Assisted Instruction-all students go to the computer labs as well as receive instruction through use of the lab tops and permeathian boards in the classrooms.

Mrs. Bickel is the Title 1 reading specialist at Logan and she is Reading Recovery trained. Reading Recovery teachers instruct first grade students one on one for twelve to twenty weeks with the goal of bringing each student's reading level to that of an average first grader. Mrs. Bickel works at Logan each afternoon.
