Mr. Eberhart
My name is Dave Eberhart, and this is my fourth year with the Altoona Area School District. I am the Itinerant Emotional/Autistic Support Teacher for Logan Elementary. I teach students the core competencies of Social Emotional Learning; Self Awareness, Self Management, Social Awareness, Relationship Skills, and Responsible Decision Making. I utilize the Zones of Regulation, Superflex, Fixed vs. Growth Mindset, and Everyday Speech curricula to guide my lessons.
Professionally, I have been working with individuals with various needs since 2005. I have learned so much from the individuals that I have worked with, and I am looking forward to working with these students this year.
I received my Bachelor's degree/certification in education from Mount Aloysius College and my Special Education Certification from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I received my Master's degree from Capella University.
